Nah, I’ve got other stuff to do. But thanks for reminding me what is out there. Seriously whats up with all these ppl who think all we do has to be performed on the internet?

Now you know the concept of a black woman actually owning her sexuality & not tap dancing to other people’s ideas of who she should be & how she should act is too much for sexist anti Black idjits.

Also there’s the part where I cant take any of this for serious because i’ve seen it all before. This KEEPS happening about Black women performers. Today its Minaj; before it was Donna Summers and the Bad Girls Album; and then it was that Ohio Players album cover, and on and on… and, honestly, no matter how ironic, clever, or “turning stereotypes on their heads” the presentation of a black woman performer who uses sexually charged imagery is, white performers will be able to use their same presentation to achieve substantial success. From Mae West to Madonna, it doesnt change.

Also people who are losing their minds about Minaj need to hear Betty Davis’ Big Freak.

Let’s not forget Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown. Remember when Lil’ Kim caught shit for her awards outfit? Foxy Brown catches slander for daring to be sexy, female, and have lyrical talent? Oh and remember when TLC caught shit for making “Waterfalls”? A song about HIV/AIDS awareness and they caught shit for it. And I’m pretty sure Tina Turner caught shit in her time too.

Beyonce caught shit for that cyber-robot uniform she wore…they called her a “Robo Ho” in the news article too. I don’t recall anyone slandering Gaga with slut-shaming for her over the top dong-too-muchness.

It’s a long and seemingly endless list of the world slut shaming Black female artists, and I’m quite tired of it.

BOLDED AND MUFUKKIN COSIGNED!
